It's what is called a Rock Bass in Ontario.

Any smaller and it would be called roe.

Any bigger and it would still be called a Rock Bass.

I missed the player but it is cool to see the crowd in full anticipation like that as well. A shot that I'm pretty sure after looking at it I literally went "Damn it! Oh wait.... hm!"

Surfers typically don't come this close together.



I'm sure the the surfer on top (doing the cut back) never saw the second surfer cut thru on the lower half of the wave. I was following the first surfer doing the cut back and was pretty stunned when the second guy appeared in the view finder.
