Picture of the week #80

Picture Of the Week #80 - 09.13.09 to 09.27.09

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A warm welcome to all members to Picture of the Week #80.
The last POTW, hosted by Bruce, has been a brilliant success, with many top shots posted.
To all members out there : Dont be shy, put up one or more of your photos. It is not a competition, and there certainly wont be any criticism. Just interest in what you have been clicking. So lets see some new Pentaxians getting involved as well.
If you haven't posted photos before and aren't too sure how, just give as a query and you will find plenty of help from some very friendly people.

Once again same rules and really other than time frames there are no rules

1) No theme just your favorite stuff.
2) Let's keep it to about 4-6 images per post just so the thread doesn't get too big each week.
3) Any Pentax camera is fine, film, P&S, DSLR (or Samsung DSLR)
4) Date : Sunday 09/13/2009 to Sunday - Sunday 09/27/2009. Enter anything you shot last week or during this current week until the thread closes.

Previous hosts: (each one is a hotlink to that POTW thread to look past at the previous weeks Thanks to Peter who started the links it was a lot of editing )

I've been laid up in bed for the past 2 weeks because of injuries from a motorcycle accident. This is what I have been looking at for the past 2 weeks. Luckily I am doing much better and I will be getting some more interesting shots in the near future.

Thanks Tome, for taking up this weeks POTW.
And we are off to a flying start with some great shots.

Wayne: great shots, love the color and contrast especially in the last two, very full and saturated without being too much.
borno: thats a great catch, how did you do that with a k10 hah, my k10 was useless for AF so I put in a split screen and went all MF. Back to AF with the k7 tho
Bramela: thats a great flower shot of some very pretty flowers, the purple/red goes so well with the white and the lighting is very good
xs400: good to hear you are recovering

Frank, that doesn't sound good! Concussion, broken arms and legs, or bruces? Good to see you back, hope you will recover quickly. Enjoy the view !

Tom, thanks for hosting, I hope to contribute some more than I did the last few weeks !

Its not technically new, but I found the series on an SD card that I hadnt transferred to the computer and had forgotten so new to me Since no one will model for me I had to do it myself. Going for the scary murderer effect

The first one is with the F35-105, the second is with my favourite DA 16-45+polarizer.
