More birds. A friend's neighbour has two cockatoos that live with him. They're not exactly pets and they're not really wild either. They are free to fly away at any time and I often see them flying around. I've been meaning to take some shots of them for ages.

They were feeding on the nature strip. At the first sight of my camera, they head for sanctuary.

Eventually one is persuaded to have his photo taken.

Who's a pretty boy, then?

Richard.
Good stuff, they look very well. Fresh back from tearing western red cedar window frames to pieces no doubt...

Nice week it has been !

Bbluesman, love the texture and colours in you shots!

Tpeace, love the game action, and the father—son concept!
Reeftool, wonderful autumn colours, looks like that here too!

András, I think those panorama crops are great! Love the sky in the first!
Tim, I am glad you decided to join again, good examples - great lionies in the ski jump shot!
Virgil, beautiful interior, I especially like shots #3-5!
Dave D, Looks like winter there already! Magical animals those buffaloes!
Richard, I really like those wattle bird shots! Good colours and sharpness! The man and the white cockatoo shot is fantastic!

Richard : that second shot of man and his cockatoo friend is certainly something special.
Very well taken shot.
I have a lot of them around here, but not that close (with both meanings : photo/friend)
