Photograph your hobbies :)

I wanted to share my other love, my other hobby that takes work and care to get results.
I have a Marine Reef Aquarium, it is not very big (been there done that) just 1200mm long by 500mm high
I spend a lot of time cleaning and looking after it, going to the ocean to collect water for water changes, adding chemicals to improve the water parameters to make certain types of algae to grow. All in all it is a very relaxing hobby to have, yet exciting as there is new life showing up all the time. Like tiny little shrimps, coral coming out of nowewhere, or snails.
Here are a few pictures to share with you guys.
1. Is a Tomato Clown Fish in her anemone, she is very fast and hard to get a completely sharp shot off and loves her anemone

2. Is a Flouresant Coral, the green colour has not been enhanced, you should see this thing change shape when I feed.

3.This one is a Citreon Goby that has decided to make it's home in my newly acquired Acropora Coral. The Acropora will eventually have lots of fuzzy bristles sticking out but it has only been in for two days and will take some time to acclimatise.

4. He has beautiful stripes.

5. Just plain old Corrilimorphs or Mushrooms

You should replacce them with thyme... problem solved

Very cool pics Taf.. If I didnt know better I'd thought they come from the local aquarium (I hope that's not an insult like "your photograph looks like postcards")

Nice work Taff, cool fishies!

Some of my hobbies seem to revolve around 'machinery'...

And I can't forget this (mostly neglected ) hobby

LOL Jim, sounds like me, between my photography and my tank, my partner has to write a contract to get things done around the house, with her jobs in return for mine
And goddo is that your HQ I am usually a ford man but that is a classic

^guitar

^Shooting (target shooting and trap/skeet)

^airsoft (taken before I got my DSLR)

I have a lot but these are all I have pictures of atm.

Guitar - what can I say I love music

Shooting - nuff said

airsoft - bigger than paintball world wide by quite a bit. Think paintball but with 1:1 scale guns to their real counterparts, no messy paintballs, and guns shooting much much farther/faster/ more accurately.

Unfortunately not, but I don't have any good photos of my car (a skyline).
I just used it as an example that I like cars and motorsports

I'm in the same boat as Jason. Petrol in the veins as it would seem. Try to get out on the bike every weekend but the weather is getting a little too hot for my tastes.

I don't think a photo of my sofa is that interesting. And being black leather, it's challenging to shoot to begin with.
