That was a snap of the Forum in Rome, just across from the Colosseum, which is either left of centre in the distance ...or behind me. Not sure now, it was a few years ago.

An amazing place and I could not help but be a little transported back in time just sitting looking at it.

Rome (and Greece, and Egypt, and ...) are places on my "bucket list", just to see the ruins and accomplishments of our ancestors... My son has been to Rome, but not me :-( - he was on a 3 week cross-Europe trip with a group called People to People that takes kids all 'round the world on these cultural exchange sorts of travel. He had fun, but the darn kid didn't take enough pictures! <grin>

Hope this counts.

In keeping with the spring thing, I'd like to see something cooking on a grill.

Keeping with the rules 500x500px and close to 50K as I could:

Cap Off Upper Cut AAA Grade beef - Prime Rib basically, love it when it goes on sale for $5.99lb. BBQin' in the winter is a must.

I'd like to see Something Irish - Perhaps a Shamrock.
