Thank's to everybody who participated in this weeks Date Challenge. Sharing our photos at times with a bit of a competitive spirit sure is fun and adds to the joy of photography. I hope that you all will participate again!

Now it is up to me to judge..well, a difficult task, but here I go:

Honorable mentions:
LaRee: What a great documentary of that moment you can be proud of: your son hitting it home in great style! Be sure to put this in a frame and on the wall, but I am sure I don't have to tell you

Dave, this is a great landscape shot you show us, I specially like the depth of the image!

rparmar, this is great work, very well made with only red and black colors, his strawberry:

and here my 'almost! winner, NaClH2O's takumar shot, I really like how the water looks and the color tones:

and here is my winner:
limitedvista your butterfly is an image that just springs into my eye and is very pleasing on many levels:
great capture of nature, spot on exposure, super colors, the butterly VERY sharp and in focus, the playlike flowers adding nicely to the image, VERY pleasing bokeh, simply an outstanding photo!
I'd be proud had I taken this a photo, you certainly should be!

Limitedvista you will be the host of the next Weekly Date Challenge, let's hope for many great photos.

congrats limitedvista, I loved that shot. I actually forgot all about entering I did have shots. Well nothing that would have gotten close to the winning shot so it didnt matter much in the grand scheme of things

Good picks Andreas. I really love the butterfly and Dave's landscape is WOW. Thank you for the honorable mention. I really should print this out, or at least one of the shots I got over the season. I made a DVD slide show, but I should get something printed and hung up.

My image in the initial post has disappeared thanks to a bug in the Flickr linking implementation. Here it is again... Poison Strawberry
