I withdrew previous submission, got the wrong comp. Am I losing a few marbles or what
My entry. As I said before Aussie photographers dont have what I would class as ruins, only derelict buildings . UK shooters would have what you would really class as ruins, castles and the like.

What with the prolonged drought and all that image of Bramela's may well be the colour version... ;-).

Re ruins in Australia, lots of convict construction in Tasmania which are now over 200 years old -
I look forward to seeing more of these.

Greg (Fstop) here is t he coloured version of my photo as requested. This is a shot taken on film and scanned. It would have to be at least 7 to 8 years old. Pentax SF7 if I remember rightly. Actually it took me some time to find the original photo :-)

We came upon the ruins of an abandoned sugar cane mill on an old plantation while on St. Lucia. This is what's left of the huge water wheel.

A steam era relic found at a West Virginia coal mine. This will be a tough week to judge; lots of great submissions.

The New York Pavilion of the 1964-1965 World's Fair. Phillip Johnson the architect, said of it, words to the effect that as a ruin, it is much more interesting now than it was during the Fair.
Shot thru a gap in a plywood security gate. For more shots go to my thread "Blimp orbits the globe" in the "Post your photos" forum
