2ipper - nice night shots I really like #1 rparmar - nice series #1 and #3 I like very much watch your back ! Ants mating wow nice timing. Peter - a break from paid gigs I see - nice fly for hand held well done. bpt - great moose and I always like mountain views. Nice series. borno - nice heron series - bird in flight is well done. rosemary - nice model pics - you are really expanding your skill set good for you Alan - great series love the tractor and people but I am fisheye fan and awsome shot !

A couple of dumb ones
I was really bored last night. Saw the pattern of light on the bedroom floor that came from a partially opened bathroom door. This is the result.
 Then there was the dying butterfly. Handheld with mosquito bites to show for it. Maybe I should have taken a picture of those

Tran, neat technique on your queen of the junkyard. Does the owner of the car mind the heel prints on the hood? Robin, that first pic is to die for. Peter, nice bugs as always. Brad, like the pano's especially but what's not to like about a moose? Then we have cool herons and sex-crazed ants. Who could ask for anything more.

Tran - wow nice PP you sure got a lot out of that shoot well done Alan - nice framing on the flower .... I while ago I posted an Education Cut Back thread in the photo section as a joke. Make no mistake the University of Alberta has some great brick buildings and the grounds are very well kept here a couple Click on image for larger view   And who says you need a fisheye to go wide ? DA 12-24  One for Alan and other Fisheye Fans ..

RParmar: Great shots of the ants! The first one had good composition in my humble opinion... though I could understand the ants weren't easily arrangeble... thanks for sharing.
Rosemary: Your first pic is the best; the others have a good function in telling the rest of the story. Good choice to have the head NOT in the picture, it would distract from the arm. Maxwell1295: I can understand why some men like working in the fields. If this is the beauty encountered there... I like both the machines and the women! The flower is great. On my monitor it lacks a little sharpness though. Slowpez: you've got an eye for great light details. I like the first shot with these anti-shadows. Dantuyhoa: nice pp, great composition. Do you have in mind how you will pp your shot when shooting? Does it change the way you shoot? Daacon, thanks for showing the University of Alberta. But the final FE is most appealing to me. I started wondering: is that wall designed to be arctic? And here is one I just posted in another thead, that I thought deserves a little more eyes to look at... This frog lives in my garden. (shot with 300/2.8 + SMC1.4L on K10d)  Click on the image to view it in a larger size

I'll guess a '60 chevy Tran
Tried out a $37 1.5x kenko shq on the da*300 AF hunts like a coon dog so I manual focussed cropped about 1/4 off  Click on the image to view it in a larger size another heron   Click on the image to view it in a larger size |

Again we are seeing some great shots.
Dave : interesting Architectural shots. Again that fisheye is getting a workout. Syb : what an awesome looking creature that frog is. Almost as if he is saying "go on, I dare you!" Tom : Nice bird shots again. Beautiful. I will throw in a couple from the Viv ser1 105 Macro: Taken half hour ago CYMBIDIUM ORCHID

Have we really gone through 20 weeks already, amazing!
Nice opening Syb! Dave, I love the flowing water! Troy, I like comp and that object, but where is the house? Nice nightly scenes, 2ipper! Houseboat Wake is great series, very vivid colours, Robin! Peter, that last macro is soo great! Brad, great wilderness scenes! Tom, always nice to see more herons Robin, those ants macros are great, rare to see here! Rosemary, that B&W is my favourite in the rgeat series! Alan, great old tractors, John Deer and Massey Ferguson, right? Susan , that really nice play with the light! Tran, interesting experiment! Dave, you begin to be a master fisher Bruce, love your orchid shots! New uses for railroad cross ties (or what they are called)

Tom : Yeah I guess it's 60 or early 70 ish too . I find out later this week . I like the second heron . I have the Kenko 1.5x - Pz model . Not bad for 30 buck TC . Syb : Thanks . I don't PP that much b/c most of the time I tried to get it right in the first place . Secondly , my PP skill is not that great . On this shoot I knew the model likes the vintage/artsy look so I did a few test PP on some old images to see the effects and use that info for the shoot . For example if I go out and do a BW theme I will look for texture and shapes even though the camera only captures in colors . Nice frog shot . Very colorful Dave : Would you stop with FE shot ? I might break down and order one hahaha . I'm trying to save up for the K20D but those model shoots keep dipping into the fund . Or maybe I should be a stronger man ! Alan : love the bokeh in the flower shot ! Susan : Thanks .
