Weekly Challenge #15 - Winner

Thank you to all you played this week.

Bramela, jthommo, chrisman, foxglove, NaClH2O, roentarre, Duh Vinci, Photo Tramp, khardur, mingdie, wethphotography, Stratman, user440, and atupdate, thank you for your entries. 14 entries in all.

Special mention to foxglove and the old cello. A very soothing shot for me.

2nd special mention for NaClH2O. I enjoyed the additional touch of the gnome in the photo.

Third place, DuhVinci - I just like the emotion of the guitarist, along with the black and white treatment that you gave this one. It keeps me engaged.

Second place, Bramela with the violin composition. Even with no bow string, or G string on the instrument, this captures some memories for me. Very nice shot.

And, our new winner for the week, khardur, Dan Morgan. I like the rough texture on this shot. The grain, the noise, the B&W, the callused fingers - it all works for me. Congratulations on the shot.

G string?

Bramela, I have fixed my error. Now, about missing a G string? That could lead to embarrassing stories if taken out of context.

It has been awhile (30 years) since I last played the violin.

Congrats to all and thanks for the mention. Now if I could just get enough time to play the poor instrument rather than just photograph it...

wow, thanks jsundin! I've had very little computer time the last couple days, sorry I hadn't noticed you posted the winners... my favorite was Bramela's violin, honestly didn't think I had a chance compared to that one.

I'm so sorry, it's getting late too - I'll glance again at the past challenges and think of a new challenge tomorrow when I'm at work to post tomorrow evening.
