Weekly Challenge #17 - Winner

A great selection of images submitted this week with several excellant examples of lines.

In third place: HelenEdith - I've never tried taking an image like this and I think you did a nice job with a creative capture.

In second place: Eaglerapids - The subtle coloration of the bird and the out of focus background makes this image a pleasure to look at.

And the winner: Scott Rylance - The timing of this image is incredible. This image would lose half of its impact if the bird's leg wasn't in the process of stepping forward.

Nicely done everyone and Scott, the ball is in your court now.

Thank you very much Tim, and congrats to the others as well.
I must admit, it was a very lucky shot, and I only had one shot at it. A second later the pigeon was off to the side.
I'll come up with a theme shortly.
thanks again.

Congrads, Scott. The photo is composed very well and a good choice on Tim's part.

Helen's shot is so creative and interesting - gonna try out some other time myself

Scott, that is a great capture. I enjoy the "luck" that you have. I call it skill. But it is definately worth a winners cup here.

A great 'line up' of entries (could not resist) and no arguments here with the winners . That pigeon reminds me of a Monty Python skit "Marching up and down the square" - outstanding capture Scott and congrats
