This was taken the morning that Hurricane Frances hit Florida in September 2004. I had evacuated to St. Augustine from Cocoa Beach. This shot was taken at the St. Augustine Pier. These were the first clouds of the outer bands of the storm. By that evening, all heck was breaking loose, even up in St. Augustine. The eye of the storm hit in Vero Beach, which is about 175 miles south. Even being that far north, powerlines and trees were downed by the storm.
