Spirit of New Zealand

This craft is used to give teenagers a bit of experience at sea, some teamwork. Here she is off Gisborne , New Zealand being sailed by trainees.

I just happened upon this boat when out walking in cumbria on the shore of Loweswater, we rested here under the shade of the tree for a while, it was one of those hot sultry days that are so rare in britain.

Really nice shots everyone - unfortunatley all my boat shots violate rule 7 (Non Pentax camera) - as much as I love to play (gets me out shooting) not sure I am going to run into a boat here in the next few days ... but I am enjoying the diversity here - keep 'em comming !

I couldn't agree more!

(I couldn't help but laugh at the shot that Mulder entered. Looking at the dings in the bow you'd swear the Captain was docking the boat by using 'Braille'.)

Stu I hope you are refering to the picture has no name and not your boat ! It is considered bad luck to have a boat with no name - Your Handle sounds like a fine name for her
