I've been thinking and thinking and yesterday I actually saw something at the Mall. Of course the trick is that it is a macro.

You guys have come up with plenty of things which are not flowers - go figure.

I just did a google image search for yellow and there are plenty of ideas there too.

Which of the two insects was being killed? ( I know I know, a spider isn't an insect technically... lol).

Easy Macro

Your 1.7 50mm is an excellent macro lens by using a reversing ring. It screws on like a lens filter and has a bayonet mount on the front. This lets you put the lens on your camera backwards. Results are surprisingly good. You focus by moving the camera. It's a cheap alternative!

Maybe this is evident for people that normally participate in the contests... but when is the deadline for submissions?

Also, are the deadlines always fixed every month?

Thanks!

I haven't entered any in a long time, but I believe that they usually run from the first to the last day every month.

Hey Adam, I'm wondering what the impetus for this is? Yellow's been my hardest color to maintain detail ... wondering if you think the same?

Easy to blow the metering and most sensors do not do yellow too well losing details within the colour. CMOS sensor tends to render yellow badly as well.

I have several but they're all taken from the inside. And there's this mad music running through my head.

Yes James they do. But, that is where color theory comes in handy at the time of exposure and in PP.

I hope someone has a great picture of a cold one. I've tried a couple of pics but I can't seem to get a good background for it.
It might probably be the best pic in the world!
Absolutely worth waiting for!

I think you get the point!
