The theme for the PentaxForums.com June Photo Contest is:
Wide Angle Portraits
Break out your seldom used kit lenses and fisheyes for this one and take a picture of your significant other, best friend or favorite pet. 25mm and under focal length is required for this contest.
As usual, plase do not post your submissions as replies to this thread! Make a new thread in the
submission sub-forum instead!

25mm as in 21ltd is ok or 25mm in 35mm equiv as in 18mm kit lens wont be wide eanough?

Ignore 35mm equivalence- if the lens is labeled at 25mm or under for a DSLR, it's fine for the contest.

Man, only 2 submissions thus far... I hope that everyone still has their kit lens or a replacement for it somewhere.

Dang... recently took the perfect shot for this but it was 26mm.... what a difference a "silly millimeter" can make. LOL
And if anyone can tell me the significance of that quote, the next time we meet, lunch is on me...

sure, but what about the voting for the may-contest (nr. 21)? there is no voting thread, yet you can see all entries and names of photogs attached to them! i was looking forward to voting (anonymously)...

That would have been a cigarette add for the "New 100mm" cigarette. Can't remember the brand but I think it might have Marlboro or PAL MAL golds. It was in the late 60's
