The theme for the PentaxForums.com August Photo Contest is:
Night Scenery
Test your equipment and creativity by taking photographs in near darkness. Take a picture of a scene or object that is in darkness or night. Make sure the photograph gives no hint sunlight or daytime. Creativity and composition is key for this contest.
As usual, please do not post your submissions as replies to this thread! Make a new thread in the submission sub-forum instead!

Ah shucks I'm lagging again. I LOVE night photography! There is still a couple weeks left. I am going to have to carve out some time and think of a place to go for some good/fun night photography. Hmmmm....
Why when I upload an image to the gallery, the size of my file shrinks? I'm uploading a 496kb JPEG, but it only comes up as 20kb when I upload it and the picture is quite small. What gives?
No sunlight, but I assume man made lighting is allowed? Flashlights, Candles, Streetlights etc.? What of flash? Also, I'm gonna assume it has to be outside
It has been pretty difficult to get out and photograph anything for the last week or so with Tropical Storm Fay wreaking havoc up here in NE FLA, but I was able to get out tonight for a while in between rain drops.
Hope everyone likes it.
