May I suggest not putting people's names on the photos for the next voting thread? Justice must not only be done, it must be seen to be done, if you know what I mean.

Very true, however we all have our own styles and can pretty much figure out who took what after seeing their work a few times

OK, it is your forum and your rules. But, if I had input, I would say the contest is more fun when the photos have to be taken during the month of the contest. It gives you more of the thrill of the hunt as opposed to just going through your old collections for photos.
Although it is more fun that way jsundin it just isn't practical.
For example, if the theme is farms for F there'll be several people living in the city that just won't have the chance to take a picture that month.
The same goes with me taking a photo of a cityscape. I have some from when I went to Quebec, but I haven't seen a big city in almost a year.

The hunting of the shot for the monthly contest will be a lot of fun but if you have a topic like "snow", I would have to photograph my own freezer struggling for ideas.
I guess it depends on the topic set for each month with some flexibility (adam will decide time frames for each contest topic)
If I'm understanding this, I should have gone to the URL in the recent e-mail I got form here (the reminder about the contest and announcing the new section), and posted up my own new thread with my pic attached.
Correct?
So that would leave me unable to see anyone else's submissions...I think.
