I uploaded to the other forum after resizing... Unfortumately uploading the photo as an attachment resized it for me to around 500 pixels.

Looks like a hard choice, but you can only enter a single photo!

Your mountain pics in that thread are extremely clear! Whatt lens (or PP) were you using?

Not much post, really, just some resizing/cropping for some pics done in bibble.

All shots, for the mountains anyways, were done with the kit lens, aand an FA 80-200 lens I had from years ago. All were done with about an 8-11 aperature. Some people say they don't like those lenses, or they're too soft. Truth be told, when stopped down that kit lens is fantastic, and same goes for that older, cheaper FA 80-200 that pentax put out.

Hi Adam,

I’m just a film shooter, so have very little experience with fiddling my photos on computer and uploading. After spending some time with it, I think that I managed to upload an image in the Contest gallery for June.

To cbrfreak, you wrote :
"please also resize your photo to a maximum of 800 pixels tall."

Does this mean that I can embed a bigger picture, than the one I’ve enclosed now ?
Cause I just chose medium from Pbase ,(just made an account), and it is a cropped image to begin with.

I can view the thread myself, but as you write, I guess other members will not be able to view it.

Hi Jonson,

From what I can see, the photo you submitted is fine. cbrfreak's photo was wider than 800 pixels, and that's not allowed, but smaller photos are.

Thanks!

Teko, you are from Montreal! On our visit there we went to the top of Mount Royal to look down on the city.

I for 1 prefer smaller images, it takes a while to load them all on high speed so I can imagine dial up.

If I remember correctly I've seen a few with a link to a larger image as well. Which is really nice.
