Patterns and Shadows

This month's contest will allow a broader, more abstract range of photos. As usual, plase do not post your submissions as replies to this thread! Make a new thread in the submission sub-forum instead!

Mo, will you send me a email of a example of a patterns and shadows pictur,because I really don't know what that means,don't laugh Im new to photography. thanks Steve

pentaxk10duser, an example would be a photograph of a fence on a sunny day from the shadow side of the fence. Make sure that you show the shadow as well.

That way you'd have the pattern of the fence along with a nice shadow.

But use your imagination, I'd be surprised if a fence wins this months contest.

This month's contest is open to a broad range of photos- just like Stu said, use your imagination! Anything from a studio setup to a simple everyday photo can quality for the contest
