Wow, a 30/2 and a 20/2. I like where they're headed Now need something long for some bokeh. I'm sure they could do a 70 pancake. Others have been successful!

May I ask you where you got this from?

It looks a lot like a photoshoped 30f2 but a 20f2 could of course be similar.

Fingers crossed for this to become a reality though...

Also, prepare to be ejected from the Pentax News and Rumors Forum since it's not in any way related to Pentax...

EDIT: It seems that Samyang is preparing to release all its prime lenses in NX mount (apparently they included the adaptor directly in the mount)
For example, see the spec. sheet for the 85f1.4:
http://www.syopt.co.kr/common/pdf/f=85mm.pdf

Personnaly, I think these are too big to be really usefull on a mirrorless camera but the 14mm might be a good ultra-wide option.

does anyone know who designs the Samsung lenses, Pentax, Schneider Kreuznach, or someone else?

Samsung NX - :+: ()? :+:
Pentax - Pentax's design

Schneider Kreuznach - for bayonet K - it's Pentax lenses under trading names of Schneider Kreuznach and Samsung

The only thing annoying to me: if Samsung CAN make a 20/2 pancake, why doesn't pentax do thé same? :/

The NX has a much shorter registration distance, meaning wide angles can be a lot wider without requiring a retrofocus design.

Moved to "Non-Pentax" since this lens is not compatible with Pentax (or Samsungs) K-mount or M42 cameras.

Please remember, just because it's Samsung, it doesn't necessarily count in the Pentax Camera or Pentax Lens specific forums.

I agree, especially the 20mm 1:2 40 blurred on the top in the background (on the far side of the lens element) - definitely looks fudged in there, and doesn't quite go with the curvature of the lens element housing!
