| Pentaxian | Mamiya DM22: $9,995 list, *with* lens. Mamiya DM22 & DM28 medium format cameras: Digital Photography Review 48×36mm 22mpix sensor, 16-bit raw files. (Note that this is a larger sensor than the 50%-more-expensive 28mpix model.) Maximum ISO of 400, though. So, rumor-speculators, how does this impact the 645D? |

I know "some" Pentax employee said 1 Million Yen was 645D price point, like 5 months or so ago? Maybe its been about a year now? Time flies. 645D has been out there for release since what, 2003 or 2004? "He" also said 645D would be worldwide inspite of fact Pentax said otherwise. Is 645D still a homemarket Japan only item or worldwide? If its Japan only why does 645D matter? Why do K-x offered in 100 colors BUT only available in Japan matter? Today you get 90 Yen for a dollar in USA, so thats exactly $11,111.11 for a 645D Pentax today, well if it actually existed today for sale in USA. So Mamiya set-up is $1,111.11 less than 645D and its buyable today... |
