Pentax announces the DA 15mm lens at PMA

Pentax USA today announced the smc PENTAX DA 15mm F4 ED AL Limited ultra wide-angle lens for PENTAX Digital SLR Cameras. This lens shares the high quality image reproduction and high grade aluminum lens barrel finish with the other members of the Limited lens series.

The lens will ship in April 2009 with a list price of $649.95 USD.

ole thanks for your post. Sure this 15 is a very interesting lens.
Very anxious to know if I'll be able to mount my limited 43 and 21 on the future Samsung NX bodies. How is Pentax Samsung "acuerdo"????
Love my istDs but need something less bulky for street pictures. Samsung seems very promising, with large sensor ans interchangeable lenses.
Any clue?????
