The Titan looks nice. But if this is the change of concept planned for this year, it's a bit pathetic, isn't it? Then again, perhaps this is just some extra stuff to keep the customers awake.
BTW, did you notice the Titan ad picture talks about a premium kit and in the right lower corner there's a text mentioning FA 77mm limited.
Damn.. The Titanium K20D looks great with my FA77 silver~
Well, at the March meet-up you said "I really want a silver body to match this lens" so I called up the folks at Hoya and told them to "do it in Photoshop for now and get it ready for production asap!" Apparently they had a few cans of spray-silver since that looks much better than just retouching!
At the end of the call I had a coughing spasm, and when asked if I was alright I said "I'll live." Obviously they misheard me, and that explains that K-m of questionable taste.

ha ha ha....
Titan K20d = Sexy and very tasty. Maybe the whole body titan would even be better!
Olive KM = hmmmm.... i liked the white version, but olive?
What it says is that the lens pictures is the 77mm available for sale separately.
From the press release, the kit is the camera, the grip, and 2 batteries.

That actually looks barely ok with a silver lens. I love my all-black model, especially the fact that bits are black that aren't on the K100DS. Basically, the blacker the better. If they release one without all the white ugly lettering I'd like that all the more.
titan colored?! jeee - if they truly wanted to make it a special edition, they would have made the body from titanium - now that would be a collectors item!
The frustrating part of this is that it certainly suggests that there will be no K20 replacement before 2010

the announcement of a Japan only special edition (which Pentax has done quite often in the past) as far as I am concerned has no bearing on the upgrade to the K20. other recent factors maybe, but this no.
