I just voted. There were MANY fine contributions, but I excluded some of those of the very old, very young, possibly exploited (religious), exotic, and several with excessive post processing. Just my opinion, of course! Again, many fine shots - even the ones that didn't get my votes. Congrats to ALL of the contributors!

many nice pics. for me choosing 4 pics between 8 was so difficult.
but really most of them are nice portraits, so far from subject and i beleive most of us didn't attend to subject when we were voting.
on the other hand,"people" is a general subject and portraits can be taken into this subject but not all portraits.
My first month as a member and my first time voting.
I am impressed with how many great photographs we have the chance to vote on, well done to everyone who submitted their hard work.
I am going to try my luck next month.
There are a lot of nice pictures for this contest but the contest was about photographs of people and NOT portraits which is to me slightly different (even though a portrait is a picture of a person). There are really nice picture in there but I voted for those that fully comply with the subject of the contest. If you agree to have large contest subjects, it become more difficult to find new contest subjects.
Sadly if you remove portraits, there are not many pictures matching the subject.
And wow this was the hardest one yet. Some excellent shots here. The B&W's work so well and I had to include gpaual's #30. That one just jumped out at me. I absolutely love the tone, composition and light of 36, what a great capture. 15 is fantastic as well. So many others deserve a mention as well I could have voted for at least 10 shots.
As a new member I missed the end date, but voted for my favourite four for the hell of it anyway.
There are some very nice pictures indeed in the competition, whoever wins has done well but everybody deserves a pat on the back for sharing their work
It has taken almost a week for me to decide on this one. Everyone is a winner this month. First there were 15, then 12, then six and finally there was the MANDATORY 4.
#15 would certainly have been a close winner had the title been People at work.
I chose some black and white and some colour, some would be considered "portrait" and some not. But, remember, a portrait doesn't necessarily mean a close-up.
