Fortunately, I do, perhaps just like the owl

When posting the poll, I thought for a split second that I hadn't limited to contest to flowers, but shortly afterwards I realized that I had. Photo #22 is disqualified- unfortunately, I cannot edit the poll without either losing data or removing the multiple-choice option.

Leo, sounds good to me @ least! hey, don't worry. If you're here you're in, regardless of what Adam requested anyway (accidental wildlife notwithstanding).

There are a couple of good pictures in this contest. With nice ideas, too.
I really liked #7. I think it's a winner picture *looking@thepoll*

my appologies. i didnt mean to misslead, i only missread. i overlooked the flower limitiation as well as confusing three votes with three entries... in another thread, i asked to be withdrawn.

i will be more compliant in the future.

i agree with the other posts, there are some great entries here.

I can see 2 macro pics so they both receive my vote. Lots of very nice close-ups, I particularly liked the owl's eye!

I must say that I've viewed the submissions many time and I am having a tough time picking just three. There are many very attractive images in this challenge. I enjoy looking through them all. Maybe because I love colors and flowers have that going for them, plus I love macro work sooo...
Anyway, I just want to say good work to all!

Where are the photos?

O.K., I'm sure it's way simple and very evident to everyone but me, but where are the photos for contest #15 that I'm supposed to vote on?

If you're on page 2 of this poll thread, you'll have to go back to page 1 which is where the entries are ...if this is the case, then you're me about three comps ago

It's funny that you say that because in that one, the subject was 4 or 6 feet away from the shooter (a pic was posted of taking the pic). It wasn't even really a close-up. He'd mentioned how that was a heavily cropped pic in the weekly challenge thread (incredible all the same; needs to be in the December contest!). I only say this to say it goes ta show just how difficult it is to tell who's between 1:3 and 1:1macro ... or not. It's really 'honor system', and up to the shooter to post the 'specs' of the shot.

I am wondering how on earth you see only 2 macro pics in this competition. I just can't wrap my brain around your statement. I'd like to know which two photos you decided where macro out of this line up.

Maybe it would help to restate the theme in the voting thread. I just joined the forum a couple of days ago so I wasn't around for the submission period. I didn't bother to go look for the submission thread, I just saw this voting thread. It just simply states to vote for your 3 favorite macro shots. I kind of get tired of the same old flower all the time, so I voted for the owl, but that was because I didn't know it was supposed to be all flowers. Is there anyway to change my vote? I definitely would not have voted for a non-flower if I would have known the challenge was supposed to be flowers only.

Sunflowers are my favorite flowers, I had to give my vote to #29 on that alone.

i hope this voting ends soon so i can get over my extreme distress and guilt. well, that may be an exaggeration, but i do feel bad about causing so much consternation....but i do appreciate all the comments and support for the owl. i was amazed at the detail possible in such an extreme crop. pentax is good stuff...
