This one was a killer. Not a boring or hum drum shot in the lot. Several super creative takes and all are stunning.

Usually when I read a comment that says how great all the images were this month, I think it's an overstatement.

But this month, there really is a full slate of great photos to choose from. I mean, sure, I have a couple favorites, but even if neither of them comes out on top, it's pretty certain that a worthy image will take first place this month!

Good work, everyone--including those forum members who nominated images for the final 15!

Exactly! Sometimes I'm able to winnow out a few that don't excite me quickly. This time I had to deliberate more because nothing was bad - there were only those that were better than the others.

If I could vote for all of them, I would; it really is a hard decision.

On a certain Polish forumPhoto, we have a contest of the month. In the voting we use a google poll, where we have the opportunity to vote for each photo. Each photo, in addition to your own, we rate p[odobienić from school grades, with a number from 1 to 5 instead of A to E, we add up the number of points that the work collected, then divide the sum by the number of votes cast, thus obtaining an average.

Example: If a work gets a total of 40 votes and 12 people voted for the work: 40 ÷ 12 = 3.33. To make it look clearer, we move the comma by two places getting 333 points. In the results we give how many points each work has collected, from the largest, i.e. first place, to the last.

Greetings

@adam I like that methodology, I wonder if this site could try something like it in the future.

Yep. I concur. This month's finals make my "banal" entry look like the amateur snap in a hot house that it was. There is some incredible work here and choosing was tough. I thought I had it all figured out in the nominations...

Also, Rule #1 broken again above. Please try to be nice @fdooch.
