| I am assuming you are in Av mode? My experience is exactly the same with my K200D. about +2 EV with big-aperture lenses, and closer to +1 EV when stopped down to smaller apertures. It definitely makes Av mode less useful. I pretty much stopped using it and shot in M mode with my Taks. I will say again, that I can't figure out why pentax couldn't make Av mode operate the same as green-button stop-down metering mode when it doesn't detect a A-series or later lens.
On a side note, the K-7 is slightly different. It requires a constant +0.7 EV compensation in Av mode to match green-button stop-down metering in M mode. Much more useful since it seems to be very predictable. I've tested this briefly with a few different SMC Taks (85/1.8, 135/2.5, and 35/2). |
