Advice needed: Manual lens adapter for pentax K-x

I ordered pentax k-x and waiting on the order. I am planning to buy Helios manual lens after reading thru this forum.

Could you please tell me if this is correct adapter to get Helios manual lenses?

Yes, but you'd be better off spending a little more money to get yourself a genuine Pentax adapter (about $30) to avoid potential problems many have with third party adapters..... http://www.pentaxwebstore.com/detail/PTX+30120

thanks for the advice. How do lens changing works(M42 lenses). Can I leave teh adapter on teh camera and change lenses? or do I need to change adapter off the camera?

The adapter has a small pin mechanism that holds it in the k-mount. Some people buy adapters for each of their lenses and remove this pin so they can permanently mount the adapter to each screwmount lens, however for using a single adapter with multiple lenses yes, it will stay attached to the camera no problem. So you can just screw each lens on and the adapter will stay in place. And definitely spend the little bit extra for the official pentax adapter, well worth it!
