Problem with wireless remote (Jianisi / Hong Kong )

I ordered both the wired and wireless remote from Deal Extreme and am having problems with the wireless remote. I am using the Jianisi wireless remote control and can not get anything to function. The wired remote works perfectly.

I am selecting the remote function in the menu. I believe the remote is sending as I took a picture of the LED while depressing a button and the LED appears illuminated (I think). Any other settings I am missing?

Nothing eh?

I guess I could replace the battery to eliminate that possibility and also try out a 'universal' tv remote to rule out the camera.

Just was not sure if I missed a setting in the menu.

I have the same 2 remotes and the wireless one works fine with my K10. The only setting that I remember changing after putting the camera in remote mode was "AF in Remote Control" under the custom menu. Changing the battery might fix the problem, and you are pressing the Pentax button, right? The "S" button on the "P" row is the only one that does anything with my camera.
