Technical Jargen help

Is there something that I can buy that I can dump my cards onto till I get home to put them on my computer? I know there has to be but I can't for the life of me think of what it is called.

thanks

I think you need portable data storage device with card reader built-in. Something like this: link

These days SanDisk Extreme III cards are pretty cheap, it's probably more cost effective to buy a whole load more cards.

They are light weight and easy to carry around, when compared to any of the other types of bulk storage options.

Also it's not "all eggs in one basket" i.e. one card lost or one card corrupted (not that any of my SanDisk ever has) the whole shoots not gone, hence tears before bedtime.

Some people store photo on Ipod when they are short on memory cards.
