Posts: 563 | Re: Pentax K10D AF. Hmmm. I think I am forced to rethink my stance on Pentax AF. I took the K10D and Tamron 70-300mm lens out today for bird photography. Last summer, I took the same kit and found it lacked compared to my Canon 20D and Bigma combo. Today however, something changed. Either I am getting better, or something was wrong last Summer. I found that I didn't even notice I was using my Pentax. I found the AF to be fantastic. I am pleasantly surprised. I did miss my Bigma however. Here are a few photos taken earlier today. Still too early for much variety. Lots of Gulls though.    |

Posts: 563 | I believe so. I found 300 not nearly enough reach for the smaller birds. |
