Sigma 1.4 TC seems unavailable for Pentax
Does anyone have any idea why there seems to be no dealer with the Sigma 1.4X Teleconverter for the Pentas DSLRs in stock, and with no answer on when they may get some? They all seem to have this for the Canons and others, yet they are all out of stock for Pentax and Nikon. Is Sigma trying to discontinue this item? If so, what other make might be as good. I want it to use with my Sigma 180 mm Macro and I want it to match the outstanding quality of that lens.

You can always try Canada, Gentec is the distributor up here instead of Sigma. So we have some things you can't get and vice versa.
Personally I get my Sigma gear through Contact Photo Arts, and they'll ship to you for a very reasonable price. Just a warning though. We usually pay more up here, but our warranty is usually longer.
