LOL!! I got it, give them a sob story saying you were so excited about the good deal you got on the new K20D that you immediately sold your K10D body for less than normal (like $250.00) and now you are sitting with nothing.

I know it not $239, but I just ordered a K20D using the Live.com 25% cashback and an Ebay 10% coupon which dropped the price from $810 to $529 including free shipping and that's from an authorized Pentax dealer.

Mine too. I was going to order it this am anyway since I have Amazon gift cards so was thrilled with price. But now that I DO want it, it still shows I already ordered so I do not want to place a second order until I get this one cancelled. Since Amazon listed it as the #1 DSLR selling today, they must have received a lot of orders. Another forum has a LOT of threads about this. Good to know that people have been watching this camera otherwise, how would they have known!

A poster on the other forum indicated they wrote to Amazon and Adorama. Adorama replied that they could not sell it that cheap and they should contact Amazon. Had not heard from Amazon.

I have had 2 of them before. I used one on a K20d from ProDigital2000 which got it for me $648 shipped. I had one last summer also. The used to give out $10 off shipping coupons also.

Bad luck guys. It's a shame the price you see is not always the price you pay anymore.
There isn't really any excuse for screw ups like this, it's not hard to double check.

I wouldn't count on it ... I think I was one of the first to get an order placed (about 7:50am Central) and one of the first to get the cancellation. If the "first few" would have gotten by, I'm pretty sure I would have been one of them.

Try actually putting your order number in the order tracking deal on the Adorama site ... mine always errored out and never actually gave me valid information all the way up to the cancel email.

Sorry to rain on your possible good luck, but I'd be madder than a hornet if they honored "some" orders at that insane price and not others.
