K20D firmware upgrade question.

I have read about the 1.01 upgrade stopping a hot pixel problem while shooting
in PEF raw mode with 2 sec timer, and also cutting down on noise while using
2 sec timer as well.(not shore which mode)
Question 1. Does it cut down noise in raw mode or only with jpeg's. (I shoot DNG).
I have read about a few people having problems with AF after loading the upgrade,
so I was wondering what people thought of it and what are all the things that
it is meant to improve?
Is it worth upgrading to 1.01 for better noise reduction or better to stay with
1.0 and not risk any problems?
I looked but couldn't find a thread with this info.

Don't update to the 1.01 firmware! It breaks autofocus

SK, thanks, but I did find that one and read it, thats where I found out about some people
having AF problems. It seems a lot of other people had no problems though.
I also wanted to find out what exactly the problems were that the firmware upgrade was
meant to fix. Was it a hot pixel in PEF mode with 2 sec timer and better noise reduction or
did it include other upgrades as well.

Uneventfully on 1.01. SDM still working fine.

I believe that only one person reported a auto focus problem after upgrading to 1.01. I also suspect it wasn't the firmware upgrade that caused the problem.
