Woohoo, got my K-m

Finally got my Pentax K-m in the mail. First DSLR for me, but I've been playing around with some of my friends cameras now and again.

Just like Yule (Christmas for all you non Nordic people ):

What could be hiding in all that packing foam:

Oh look, a brand new Pentax K-m and a little something extra that the nice folks at Cyberphoto.se threw in:

The whole shebang:

The DA L 50-200 mounted:

Now if we only could get some nice sunny weather here so I could get out and shoot.

Hi Joakim. Nice present for you. It is amazing what Pentax crammed into that small package and then the Twixx for free! I bought a K-m plus the 18-55 for my partner as a Christmas present and took the opportunity to at least handle it. It is a nice and solid camera. The only annoying thing was the lack of a lens hood for the kit lens. It is just not part of the package.

When it gets bright again in Sweden show us some of your lovely winter scenery!

What's amazing, is the shot with the AA batteries next to the K-m - that is SMALL!

I assume the 2-lens kit is an EU thing, and not in the US?
The bundle here is the K2000, 1 lens, and a flash.

Tony

It is nice to see that your wallet (on the table behind the box) is still fat as well!

Congratulations on your new toy!

It seems that there is new kind of front caps with the DA-L lenses, or am I just too exhausted from work and seeing things..

The DA-L caps does look different from the DA version. I think that's what he meant. The DA-L caps look tamron-like to me. THe silver ring on the new bodies look cool =)

Not only on the DA-L, I have got the same type on my new 16-50/2.8. So Pentax has another innovation brought to live.
