K10D rear dial problem - advice?

I have noticed recently that the rear dial on my K10D seems to not work. In manual mode, it should change the aperture, but no can do. Same holds true for other settings.

Any suggestions other than turning it in for repairs? Camera is in excellent condition, no drops, etc...

If you have a grip attached, have you tried adjusting the real dial on the grip, and then trying the body's real dial again?

Sometimes, if the rear dial on the grip gets stuck on a setting half way, it jams the body's rear dial from adjusting that setting.

It's usually related to the BG.
