I may be crazy but it seams that as my K10D gets older I need to clean my sensor less.

At first it seamed that I needed to clean the sensor every week or two in order to get some annoying schmutz out of my pics.

Now I can't remember the last time I cleaned the sensor.

Is it possible the sensor gets seasoned somehow after a number of cleanings?

Anyone else experiencing this?

I suspect that it is you who are becoming more proficient at keeping the crud out of the camera. I have had few problems with my K10D, and only had to blow dust out a few times. I have a sensor clean kit, and have never needed to use it.

I hardly ever have to clean the sensor on my cameras, either K10 or K20. This makes me very happy.

I am also. One thing is changing lenses. I dont change as much as I used to and when I do I do it very quickly and always indoors away from carpet if possible. That helps keep out a lot of the irritating specs that use to show up in some of my pics. But like you I have not had to clean mine in a while either which makes me happy also.
