Thinking of swapping my current Pentax gear...

for Pentax too of course... I was wondering, how to make such a trade fair?

I have K10D + grip, 16-50 and 50-135

I want to go small and get:

k2000 + DA15,21,35,40,70

I know it's not really equal in value, how do you think I should go about this?

sell one set and buy the other would be easier than finding someone who wants to trade a camera that is brand new

The latter set is better, very obviously. So, its not fair to exchange! ;-)

problem is, buying stuff here is more expensive, and to sell is hard since there are a few pentaxians here... will try to weigh my options and see what the best course of action is for me then... hmmmm

No Brainer

Those DA primes are surely better than these two DA Zooms (I can't see the Star quality, frankly). K-m has better IQ than the K10D.

Size wise, DA pancakes on K-m blow anything out of water on Earth in terms of compactness!

So, it is just a no brainer! Easy decision here!

15 + 35 + 70 would be killer, and you'd have a true macro in the bunch.

But... Don't you want any really fast glass, as long as you're going prime?

I'd add one of the following: FA 50 1.4, F/FA 50 1.7, FA 43ltd.
