K7 vs K20D (and other pentax's) back

I love the new K7 features, and will be buying at least 1 ASAP, but do wonder this: I like to 2-thumb the back of the camera when "chimping or menu-ing" and wonder how the re-arangment of the left-side buttons that we are all used to change that. I always thought it faster to work both hands at once for this, now this may lead to easier 1-hand operation but how fast will it be?
I bet I will get used to it in less than a month, but still wonder. Personal I would have liked the buttons to remain on the left side of the LCD.
Also I wonder about the AF point-mode selection switch. On all other "top-end" (D, k10d, k20d) it has been rather large around the 4-way controller, now its smaller.

Just a few thought provoking things

I like the placements of the green and ae-l buttons on the k-7. Especially the ae-l is placed very badly on my k20d imho.

One thing that kinda bothers me with the K20D grip is that the buttons and dials arent in the same place relative to your fingers as the regular grip of the camera when you hold in horizontally. Would it be so hard to get it to feel the same vertically as it does horizontally. I've used a friends D700 and grip and it was so nice, thats what partially convinced me to get a Grip for my own K20D.

I wonder if the K-7's grip improves on this in any way.
