Thick Band on image (K20D)

I did a studio shoot yesterday, and most of the images are great. however I have a small number which have a thick band on them

Has anyone come across this, is it a new fault with the sensor? The K20D has only been back from repair a few weeks ago (faulty sensor) and the sensor was replaced.

I'm sorry I don't see the band your are talking about. Maybe my monitor needs calibration...

Could you post a somewhat larger image? Preferably from the original (i.e., prior to adding the name). Also, intact exif info might help.

I see it - albeit subtle, but yes, it's there.
Is it reproducible and has been present since repair?
If so, I'd say your replacement sensor is still not quite right.
May need to speak to the repair people again about this.

A 100% or even a 50% crop would certianly help looking at the line and how its affecting the picture.

All, I have not re-created this since, but yesterday I had some focus issues with various lenses.
Now I think I know what is causing the problem, its the battery grip. Did some test shots with and without the grip, and the shots without the grip were sharp. So I am thinking that the grip is the problem, rather than the camera.
