Just got my new K-7 :D

Got it today, pretty excited even after I'd played a testing K-7 for a couple of weeks

The very first shot from the new camera:

Now I'm really gonna have some K-7 fun

Congrats Frank!!! I'm looking forward to seeing your first results with this camera. I'll be looking out to see what difference you find between this and the test camera.

I'm eager to see when we'll receive them in Europe. Cannot wait to do my first tests!

BTW, I see you also got the W80? I personally have the W60. I don't remember whether you had the W60 as well, but it would be interesting to see a comparison between those two as well. Esp IQ wise.

Congrats bro, very nice... now you have the best Pentax DSLR to date to play with. You are K-7 owner #1 in Singapore.
That new Optio W80 looks good. Must get to try it one of these days...

Thanks guys Battery still charging, can't tell if the retail version is any different from the testing one, yet.

Just installed the new software, looks pretty cool:

I've never used Pentax software before, don't know if it's any better. But I kinda like it already. It runs pretty fast on my Windows Vista (Intel Core Quad CPU Q9300 @ 2.5GHz, 3GB RAM, 64Bit OS), seems faster than SilkyPix. Haven't played it enough to tell how good/bad it is, but I think I'm gonna use this one a lot if I process RAW files

Congratulations!
Mine is not due to be delivered till next year!
I can't understand it!
I just asked them for the price of $700 and they said, mine would be available for next year.

Hmmm..I just realized from the photo of the box that..body only and no lens?
What did lens did you use for the photo of the optio?
Next on your shopping list would be the WR lens and battery grip.
I thought they would ship it as a kit.

Frank,I like the pictures of the new "toy" in and out of the box. Makes me feel it's Chistmas...I'm waiting for THAT Xmas to come to me too

Just one short question: how do you like the viewfinder? That's one of the main features that attracts me very much.

Thanks, András
