I'm debating whether to sell my O-ME53 magnifying eyecup with my K10D (part of the funding plan for my ordered K-7) or to keep it. Has anyone who has the camera tried it yet? How does it work with the new viewfinder?

As soon as I pick up my K-7, I'll let you know if it works.
I haven't held one, but I would think that, if the finder was the same, the K-7 would use "Eyepiece Blind M," right? Yet on the Pentax Imaging site, under "What's In The Box" for the K-7, it says, "Eyecup FR," and "Finder Cap for ME."

Thanks guys. It's listed in the manual as an accessory, so I have no doubt that it works. However, I'm mostly concerned with vignetting and eyepoint. With the K10D, I've adapted, but if it's any worse I'd definitely have to reconsider.
I've been using O-ME53 on my new K-7 camera ever since I bought it, don't see any side effect, and don't think I'd ever take it off. Liked it on K10D and K20D, loving it on K-7 too
I put the O-ME53 on my K-7 when I got home last night... it definitely makes the already large viewfinder that much bigger!
It works well, but not sure if I'm going to keep it on. My initial impression made it seem like it might make the bottom info bar a bit hard to see in bring sunlight, but I will need to shoot outside in said bright light before I'll come to a concrete conclusion.
Just tested it on my freshly unpacked K-7 and it works about the same as on the K20D: VF is bigger but a bit more difficult to see the borders and the infos. Next I'll try the KPS I had on the K20D.
I've used the loupe on a K10 previously and found that it does impede vision of the edges a tiny bit, but I wear glasses - so my eye is a bit further back than those that don't wear glasses.
I only noticed a tiny bit of difference with it on the K-7 (i.e. a very tiny bit more of vision loss on the edges). I tried it with my glasses off and I could see everything in the viewfinder.
If you've used it on the K10/K20 I'm sure you will find it just as helpful on the K-7.
Does anybody make an magnifying eyepiece that does not block borders? I guess it must be a physical impossibility since every existing one does? Is there an explanation behind it?
