K7 bug, temp malfunction or settings...?!

This morning I don't know what happened but when turning the dial to change mode the lcd display went berserk, I had to turn the camera off and back on to get a normal display again:

ps: I used one pic from Ned Bunnell blogspot.

Yeah, I got this once. Hopefully a firmware update will fix it :P

I had and still have a K100DS, and I was really going to go for the K-7.
After some of the posts I have read (and I have READ them all), i'm glad I went with the K20D.
I still want a K-7 but I think I will wait until the bugs are worked out of the system.

Relax, the K-7 is an awesome camera and a joy to use, honest.

I'm pretty sure 99% of those who bought the camera find it functions just as intended.

I've read the problem posts in this forum, and elsewhere.
I respect what they brought up, some are without doubt Pentax quality issues, some are really....ummm... user error, some are newbies trying out what is really a very complex camera without any real understanding...BTW it takes great photographs even in Green mode and Program mode, but for anyone who wants to start using other functions, you'd better do your homework first, like reading the manual.
