urgh....not good, after reading a few threads, then this...im itching to go get a k-7.
and Im gonna be around adorama on monday...even better...=(

(even tho I am slightly dissapointed w/ what adam found re: controls)

I've now used the camera a little bit and can chime in a bit more. The HDR feature is works very well (although it requires a tripod), and I do like the way the info page is set up.

Unfortunately, my complaints about EV compensation usability, bracketing, the mode selector button, and ISO range setting stand. I'm still not a big fan of the fact that the live-view button can't be programmed, either.

The positive side of thigs, however, is that I've found the IQ, metering, and overall handling of the camera to exceed expectations. The electronic level is perhaps also one of the most useful innovations I've seen in a DSLR. The 5.2fps (quiet) shutter is also great.

One more thing- I've shot about 350 pictures with the K-7 so far, and my first gallery should be coming up within the next few days!
