Pentax K2000D at Fry's

I spotted this ad today in the San Jose Mercury News.

It's been a long time since I saw a Pentax DSLR at a retailer, much less in a retailer ad.

The camera being advertised is a K2000 .

That's cheap!

I went to Fry's last week to get a hands-on feel of the K-7. Man, that's a beautiful camera. Feels like my K-m, just slightly bigger. The K-7 actually fits my hand better than the K-m and I have small hands. I held some Canons and Nikons that were there, but didn't feel as secure in my hand as the K-7. I appreciate the deep finger recess on the grip where the fingers curl around the front of the camera. Can't wait for the K-7 to come down in price.

May be cheaper than other places, but there was a deal for them for about $250 a few months ago.

I think Meijer.com had the K2000 body for around that a couple of month ago. It was sold out by the time I saw it.
