Focus adjust for just one lens on K10D?

I have a handful of lenses, that I have used happily on my *ist DL.

Now, on my K10D, I find that one of my lenses backfocuses quite severely. Not all of my lenses, just this one lens.

I know about the firmware hack to adjust front and back focus on the K10D. But will this adjustment affect ALL lenses? Or can I adjust the backfocus with the offending lens attached, and get the camera to only apply the adjustment when that lens is mounted?

From what I understand, Pentax can set your camera to remember the adjustments for up to 4 lenses. Unfortunately, I emailed Pentax service, and they will only offer calibration for Pentax lenses on the K10D. My offending lens is not a Pentax (it's a Sigma.)

Any thoughts?

It will adjust it for all lens, not just the one.

Drat! If only we could get our hands on the diagnostic software Pentax uses to set up 4 lenses...

I wonder if a third-party service centre would have the diagnostic/service tools to set up multiple lenses for you... they might not be so picky about only working on Genuine-Pentax lenses.
