I have found very interesting thread here at dpreview:

GordonBGood nicely proposed to try to deliver a small application that will remove this magenta tinge right in the PEF/DNG, thus greatly simplifying the post-processing steps with high ISO:

This is derived from an old post here : how to use the k20's black pixels hidden in dngs, but you're right to refresh this a little bit!!!

BTW, v0.9 is available now (PEF support added)...
V1.0 will support compressed DNGs and (maybe!) vertical banding correction, from what GordonBGood told us...

Yes, I think K-7 has compressed (loseless) RAWs because of smaller size than K20D

Please note GordonBGood's correction application is specifically written to address an issue with the K20D not the K-7.
