| Sigma EF 500DG super flash owners and K10, you need to read this
I just e-mailed sigma and asked about their D500 super if it will be compatable with the new K10d this is what they wrote:  Quote: The flash may need to be upgraded to work with these cameras. If the serial number of the flash is less then 8063038, then it will need to be upgraded. | here is another answer for the upgrade if needed
If you need to upgrade yours, here is the e-mail response to that question Quote: They would have to send the flash to our service department to be upgraded. All of our stock has been upgraded. So some lenses with the lower serial number will be compatible. You will have to check with the dealer to see if they have compatible versions.
