Honeywell flash with K100d

I recently acquired a Honeywell auto strobonar flash with an ME Super (see other thread) and am wondering if it can be used with the K100d. If so how do I use it? I mean aside from the obvious bits!!

Wow, that's going back a while. You didn't say which model you have. Since some were fully manual and one or two auto, it is a difficult to say much without more info.

It is the Honeywell Auto Strobonar 120A. It has a switch that can be set to either blue, M or green.

Well, you just had to pick one I've never seen before. I did find a picture of it on a web site, which suggested nothing to me. Many of these units had a non-replaceable rechargable battery, which may be your biggest obstacle since that battery is surely approaching the end of it's lifespan by now. Not an issue if yours has a battery compartment. Beyond that, these were mostly fully manual flash units (the blue and green were often lower power settings that relate to those colors on the exposure dial), so it should work just like most other fully manual flash units. Good luck.
