Boost FPS?

Is there anyway to boost the framerate on a K200D? As you know it´s 2,8 fps. Does it get any higher with the BG-3?

You can do a few things to optimise your real world fps performance - eg buy a very fast SDHC card, shoot in JPG only - but 2.8fps is the ceiling.

I was wondering about this myself a while ago.

Is 2.8fps the limit mechanically, like the shutter and mirror, or because of the processor and pipelines?

It seems like shooting RAW or JPEG, there is a difference. What about shooting 6mp jpegs instead of 10mp -- any difference in speed?
