800 and above is useful too, depending on your needs. Try telling a sports photographer or photo journalist or live music photographer or street photographer that they should stick to ISO 200.
And speaking as someone who was a film photographer for several decades, I welcome the new options
DSLR's make available to me by delivering good
IQ at ever higher ISO's. Sure I loved my Kodachrome 64 and Kodachrome 25, but I also like being able to play at 3200 ISO now too.
Anyway, I think ogl is just trolling again.
